Charlie Kirk
Statement from Chairman Mick
Charlie Kirk died doing what he believed in. He was not simply killed—he was assassinated. This was no random act, but a deliberate and planned attempt to create shock, fear, and silence. It was designed to intimidate those who dare to speak out, to frighten others from standing boldly for truth, and to suppress voices that challenge the prevailing narrative.
But that was the embodiment of Charlie Kirk. He went where he knew he would be challenged, heckled, and opposed—yet he never backed down. He stood boldly, not just to debate, but to listen. Charlie created space for hard questions. He encouraged people to think, to examine their beliefs, and to reflect on where those beliefs came from. He didn’t demand others change their minds—he inspired them to open their minds. And when hearts and minds did change, it was because individuals made that choice freely.
Already, political leaders are rushing to the microphones with hollow words condemning violence. Yet many of these same voices have, for years, vilified the President and his supporters as “Nazis,” “fascists,” and “the greatest threat to democracy.” Their reckless rhetoric gave permission to this very violence. When you dehumanize your opponents, you remove the moral barrier to harming them.
America has lost the art of thoughtful debate. Too often, we no longer seek to listen—we seek to destroy. To silence opposing ideas by destroying the people who hold them. That is how we arrived at this moment: someone believed they were “saving America” by killing Charlie Kirk. They were wrong. In truth, by doing so, they struck at the heart of America itself—our most cherished freedom: the freedom of speech.
Charlie Kirk was bigger than life. He made a difference. He cared deeply. And he never, ever backed down. His voice gave courage to millions, and his example will continue to inspire long after his passing. Though his life was cut short, his mission must go on.
Now is the time for all of us to stand up in his place. To speak with courage. To listen with humility. And to carry forward the legacy Charlie Kirk left behind: a legacy of conviction, free speech, and unwavering faith in America’s future.
Rest in peace, Charlie. Your fight is now our fight.
