The Wilson County Republican Party is deeply saddened by the passing of former Governor Jim Hunt and extends our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.
Governor Hunt devoted his life to public service and was a steadfast advocate for Wilson County and the great state of North Carolina. While we may have differed on matters of political philosophy and policy, we recognize and respect his enduring commitment to the people he served.
